Nanchang, April 10th (Xinhua) -- It was learned from the press conference of the 2025 China (Nanchang) International Clothing and Apparel Expo that the expo will be held from May 7th to May 9th at the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center. More than 650 domestic and foreign clothing buyers will attend the expo to strengthen the supply and demand connection of the clothing industry and empower Nanchang's clothing industry to go global.
It is reported that the needle spinning clothing industry is one of the four traditional industries with distinctive advantages in Nanchang City. Currently, there are more than 3500 modern needle spinning clothing enterprises in the city, forming a spatial layout of "one district, two parks, and multiple points" with Qingshanhu District as the main gathering area and coordinated development between Nanchang County and Anyi County. Among them, Qingshanhu District is the largest needle spinning clothing industry base in Jiangxi Province and the fourth largest in the country
"In recent years, Nanchang has vigorously promoted the intelligent transformation and digital transformation of the knitwear and clothing industry, and encouraged enterprises to introduce advanced equipment and technology. At present, Nanchang knitwear and clothing industry is transforming from the traditional OEM mode to the high added value and intelligent direction through brand upgrading and industrial chain improvement." Hu Songhua introduced that this clothing expo will take "science and technology+fashion" as the theme, with an exhibition area of about 30000 square meters. It will set up a surface accessories exhibition area, a ready to wear exhibition area, an industrial Internet exhibition area and a mechanical equipment exhibition area, covering the whole industry chain of clothing design, production, fabrics, accessories, intelligent manufacturing, etc
In addition to inviting 600 well-known domestic and foreign clothing enterprises and brands to participate in this exhibition, more than 600 domestic buyers and over 50 overseas buyers from more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany, and Egypt were also invited to attend, further promoting the precise and efficient docking of the clothing industry, "said Hu Songhua.
